Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Assist with tax filings, including sales/use tax and other statutory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (public or industry)
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, and bill.com
- Ramp (credit card processing)—nice to have
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advantages:
- CPA or CPA-eligible a plus
- Experience with ERP systems
