Responsibilities:
The team will be responsible for:
Test Case Development
- Writing E2E tests using the existing Playwright-based automation framework
- Covering critical user flows and functional areas identified by the internal team
- Creating reusable test components and utilities where appropriate
Maintenance & Test Stability
- Updating tests as the application evolves
- Ensuring test reliability and minimizing flakiness
- Reporting and fixing automation bugs in coordination with the internal team
Collaboration & Communication
- Working closely with the internal automation team and developers
- Participating in sprint planning and daily/weekly syncs
- Documenting test logic and contributing to shared knowledge
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright, preferably with TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end testing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with page-object models and reusable test design patterns.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Advantages:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of test stability techniques and strategies to minimize flakiness.
- Previous experience contributing to a Playwright-based automation framework.
