On behalf of Pontera SD Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the team for a long-term basis. In this role, you will design, implement, monitor, maintain, and evolve our production environment in AWS to support our development and security needs, scale, and uptime.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a tailor-made architecture.
- Deployment of advanced services on the cloud.
- Implement automation solutions.
- Maintain and improve the resilience of our platform and our uptime level.
- Collaborate with the developers, QA, BI, and security teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues.
- Serve as an on-call engineer for urgent production issues/failures.
- Availability for a call on weekends once a month.
- Ability to work night shifts twice a week.
Requirements:
- 5+ Experience in SAAS companies that are running their production environments on AWS (preferably) or GCP cloud providers
- Strong experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, EKS etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Argo CD, ArgoWorkflow and ArgoEvents) development in multi-env/multi-account architecture
- Extensive Linux and shell scripting experience.
- Strong foundations with Git and git-flow methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (preferably GitHub actions, Jenkins).
- High-security awareness.
- Experience with system monitoring platforms (Prometheus & Grafana) - developing new dashboards & alerts.
- Experience with production environments.
- Team player with high communication skills (including high English level).
- Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Project management skills and attention to details.
- Joining the 24x7 on-call shifts.
