As a part of the initial team, you will work with experienced software engineers and architects to design and build Bookaway Group's brand-new core business and technology infrastructure. You will be involved in all aspects of the new system's development and will have a significant impact on its success.
Responsibilities:
- Build an efficient back-end central complex infrastructure from scratch.
- Build web services, and APIs in a high load, high availability production environment.
- Deploy system to production weekly.
- Write high-quality code.
- Test if new features are implemented efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and debug problems.
- Stay updated about top-notch technologies and best practices.
- Be involved in all aspects of the new system's development and have a significant impact on its success.
Requirements:
- 3-4+ years of software development experience (.Net Core).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure knowledge (preferably AWS) as a back-end developer.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
- Working knowledge of C# and .Net Core framework.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, best practices and design patterns (Caching, Queuing).
- Experience building high-scale backend systems, web services, APIs and maintaining them in a high load, high availability production environment.
- Knowledge of database and data store systems (Mongo DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent communication skills, and good English.
- A team player attitude with a can-do approach is essential.
